Resurrection Sunday {Easter 2017}

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
~ Isaiah 25:8 KJV

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
~ John 11:25-26 KJV

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
~ Luke 24:5-7 KJV

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
~ John 3:16-17 KJV

What is Easter?

It's not about pretty dresses and new shoes, it's not about cute hairstyles and Easter eggs. It's not about chocolate bunnies and baskets of candy.

It's a celebration of Jesus Christ defeating death and rising from the grave on that third and glorious day. It's about never-failing, agape love. It's about redemption and grace and joy. It's about salvation and eternal life.

Rejoice in His goodness, bask in his presence, and spread the news of His salvation...

Happy Resurrection Sunday, friends!! <3
