Snow // A Poem

Happy Saturday everyone! Today I'm sharing a poem that I wrote when we had quite a bit of snow on the ground about...two weeks ago. Goodness, it doesn't seem like that long. :P

My poems aren't 'amazing' by any means, but they're fun to write and I hope you at least enjoy. If you want some really good free verse poetry, I highly recommend Julia's blog, Twilight to Dawn. She's a super talented gal. ;)

this snow

it tells a story

a story of a fallen world

a story of a sinful people

daily we fail

we wrong God

we wrong each other

this snow is like that

no longer as pretty

as perfect

as picturesque

as it was before

it's like this world

marred by sin

scarred by people's wrongs

but even still

through it all

there is beauty to be found

for those who know

where to find it

in the One who saved us all

by His amazing grace
